The local mineral springs are cold, with a temperature varying between 7 and 15° C. Despite being located in a small area, each spring has a different chemical composition which enables one to target and cure various illnesses – this is known as the balneological rarity.
Edward VII & Augustin springs
The town of Marienbad is located in a region extremely rich in natural medicinal resources. Specifically, the town is known for the occurrence of ca. 100 geothermal springs.
Both our sources are located near Ferdinand Colonnade and are drawn from a depth of ca. 70 m. Chemically, these very strongly mineralized cold waters are bicarbonate- sulphate- and sodium-containing springs. They also contain high amounts of calcium, magnesium and iron.
The recommended daily intake is 0.5 – 0.7 L of spring water, ideally divided into three servings and drank 30 – 45 minutes before meals.
